A renovation of a basement into a family room and play space in Charlottesville, Virginia. Rubber floor tile provides a durable, kid-friendly surface for all activities. Felt walls made from recycled water bottles dampen sound and control acoustics. Exposed structure and ductwork are celebrated with a fresh bright green coat of paint. A large projection wall makes for the perfect family movie night.
